It is not a good time to own a vehicle by General Motors, to be working at General Motors, to be associated with General Motors in any way and most of all to be the CEO of General Motors. The year 2014 has proven to have brought a huge force of bad luck towards General Motor’s way and it just wont stop. With millions of recalls already under the company’s belt it is not helping that the customers are still complaining about the unavailability of recall parts and prompt service necessary at the moment.

In recent new General Motors has announced yet another recall of nearly half a million full sized trucks and SUVs. The models that made the cut for the dreadful list include Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierraa, Chevrolet Tahoes, Suburbans, GMC Yukons and Chevrolet Cruze. Ill fitting oil cooling lines have resulted in vehicle fires in GM trucks the moment the leaking oil touched hot surfaces. Days before GM’s CEO Mary Barra is set to testify infront of Congress for the ignition failure issue, the recall news has come to light which does not help General Motors sensitive image at the moment.
